Description

This camper is located on a working farm, it is close to the barn, it is not in a wooded area but is not semi private with a screened in porch.

The setting

The camper is located off a quiet country road, It is on a working farm and you are sure to hear roosters crowing, donkeys braying, horses naying, goats bleating especially at breakfast and dinner time.

The spots

There is a shaded screened in porch the camper has heat and ac for your convience. The ground is flat and very easy access.

The sanitary facilities

The camper has a bathroom that includes a working toilet, shower and sink. There is also a hydrant outside.

The amenities

There is wifi and plug in access to the internet. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, sink, and microwave. There is a table and all the basics, for your convenience. dishes, pots pans, silverware, glasses, utensils etc. Electrical plugs are available inside and outside the camper. We can provide extension cords if needed. It is easy to charge devices.

The activities

You are welcome to join in the farm work at chore times. we can provide a tour of the farm. There is a fire pit just outside of the camper with seating. There is large picnic area where you can sit and watch the animals play. There is a large playground. A short walk to the state campground where there is an additional playground.

Other things

We are a short walk to Davis Lake, where you can fish and kayak/ canoe, and walk on trails. We are 30 miles from Whiteface mountain and it is visible from the property, We are 15 miles from Lake Champlain, and 15 miles to the city of Plattsburgh where there is plenty of shopping opportunities. We are 35 miles from the Canadian boarder, Great Escape is 102 mile away. there are many trials to hike and bike on. There are many other activities if there is something specific you are looking for we are happy to provide details.

Rules

You are welcome to visit the animals from the outside of the fence, when we are available, we allow people in to see the goats, alpacas, and donkeys. The horses are not available for riding. The donkeys are available for walking the trials for a fee.
There is no smoking is prohibited in the camper and in the farm areas. You may smoke at the campfire area.
