Description

A real old-fashioned campsite in the heart of a natural area!
Large pitches, fabulous views of wide open spaces. We do not allow cars on the site, which adds to the "wild" feeling of camping in the open air. Children can roam freely, playing with the animals and their new friends. Cars park near the orchard, once you have unloaded your tent on the campsite.

The setting

A natural camping area in the park of a superb 15th century Norman castle.

The spots

25 pitches on a large sunny plot, next to a small pond, with access to the private pool.

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are separate for men and women, with toilets and showers on the ground floor of the castle.

The amenities

WIFI. Microwave and dishwashing area. Electricity and USB recharge in the bathrooms.

Other things

Supplements to be paid on site:
Kitchen shelters / Awnings = 8€ per night.
Barnum / Event shelters = 12€ per night.
Tents of 5 meters and more will be charged a supplement of 8€ per night.

  • Great location and good vibe overall!
    However in the period we went there were a few false promises and disappointments: the restaurant/bar was closed, delivery of bread in the morning was cancelled mid-week (apart from that: fantastic service!) and the freezer with ice-cream was empty.

  • A great stay! Our hosts were very available, welcoming, always with a smile and very good advice on the must-sees of the region! We validate this address without hesitation! Thanks again Perrine and Thibault :-)

  • A very nice terrain with lots of different beautiful spots to pitch your tent. You will be followed by bird chatter everywhere you go :) All the amenities are there for a very comfortable stay and then some, although you must be ready to share them with the many other campers ;)

  • Very very good experience. Highly recommended. We were given a quick tour of the place and had a lot of freedom thanks to the trust of our hosts. They are very accommodating. They offered us pastries in the morning, made the BBQ available, etc... The setting is beautiful!
