Open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and all year round!
We accept all kinds of vehicles : Bus / Bus-Tour / Camping-car / Caravan and Mini-Van !
Spoken languages : French / English / German.
Close to the Futuroscope, the Loire Castles (Chinon and Saumur), but also to the Castle of La Mothe-Chandeniers (20km) !
Conviviality and relaxation are the order of the day!

The setting

In the countryside, close to a small bucolic village, quiet, on 2ha of mowed lawn, in the shade of poplars.
View on the fields, on the edge of a wood or on the high hedges.
Very luminous grounds.
For one of the 2 plots, close to the RD347, therefore possible noises but little road traffic, except on holidays. Surrounded by vegetation (high hedges).
Morning songs of birds and of my two roosters (Countryside obliges...)

The spots

Free pitches, shaded or not.
Flat ground, easy access, lawn mowed regularly!
All sizes accepted for tents, vans, caravans, motor homes or tour buses (with or without artists) !

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilet outside, available 24/24H !
Daily emptying done by myself.
Toilet paper, sawdust, and jerry can of cold water to wash hands; provided.
The solar shower and the sink outside, in function from Spring 2022. Washbasin outside. For the hot water: with the electric kettle, then mitigate with the cold water...

The amenities

Power outlets outside.
Possibility to provide you with pans, plates, cutlery, glasses.
Salt and pepper are free.
Breakfast : paying.
A gas plancha (60x40), an electric plancha XXL (with participation of 2 Euro)
A XXL charcoal BBQ (with a 2 Euro participation).
Possibility to make a campfire (according to prefectural restriction) with wood supply (with participation of 2 Euro).
Possibility to charge your cell phone inside (with presence of the owners). 30 m electric extension cord available for free.
Tables of brewers + benches, 5 deckchairs and a small arbour at disposal (see photos).
Possibility to recharge your cell phone!
Paid contribution for use and electricity consumption which will be 2 €/day.
Wifi available in the garden!
Possibility to provide you with an electric mini-oven, kettle, toaster and microwave; as well as a table with tray and dish drainer near a cold water tap outside. On request, I can provide you with pots, plates, bowls, cups
cutlery, salt and pepper.
One electrical outlet outside and two others inside the boiler room.
Distributors of artisanal baguettes at 400m (Maison du Pays) and 1,2km (Mille Pattes road parking).

The activities

Walks in the countryside, in the forest of Scévolles (pond, fishing, forest walks), visit of wine cellars (A.O.C. Saumur-Vienne), asparagus farms, melons, micro-breweries. Otherwise, the city of Loudun is 7 km away and its numerous activities and museums.

Rules

Entry and exit times are free 24 hours a day.
At the time of your arrival (between 7H00 and 21H00), we will receive you, but if schedules late; to prevent us by telephone to leave the gate open!
Clean and respectful" smokers accepted.
Dogs accepted under the responsibility of their owners (composters available...).
Children under the responsibility of parents, guardians or persons in charge !
Possibility of making the "java" after 22H00, if your neighbor "Gampeur" agrees...

Possibility of breakfast (€5 / person)

Is included in the breakfast: Tea, coffee piston, milk, milk chocolate, baguette, butter and homemade jam.

Tent ready

Loan of an igloo for 2 persons: 3 Euro/day/pers (insulating ground sheet + sleeping bag), supplement to be paid on site.

  • Yann made us feel very welcome. We were able to enjoy the grounds with our three dogs and walk easily on nearby paths.

    He's a friendly host.
    However, we didn't stay with him as a Home Camper, as the services weren't quite what we'd been promised: the dry toilets didn't convince us, and above all, no shower was possible. No sunshine for the solar shower, but what about the second, independent, classic shower mentioned on the site? Also, no info on electricity or wifi.
    Too much Roots for us.
