Starting from €7.00/night
Deserted island surrounded by land :) my home is lost at the end of a small road (no traffic) with some terraces flank of a small wild valley that overlooks the high part of the Dordogne River (2 km).
2 flat pitches are available with lots of sun and partial shade for small and medium tents (up to 4 tents) next to and below the old barn (mowed lawn, flower beds and fruit trees. View over the valley).
And 4 others, far from everything (walking distance only), in the woods near the pond or stream (for fans of bushcraft or fans of "Into the Wild"... without the bus ;)
> Warning: for the moment, I can not receive tents over 4m wide (I already had requests for 8 x 8!). I thought of making a larger platform somewhere, but it will not be for this season.
No air or soil pollution at home. No light pollution. No manmade noise during the night and some during the day (but, as the place is wild, summer nights, we hear crickets, dormice, owls and birds as early as sunrise. In winter, it's quieter ;) Hardly any passing on the cul-de-sac.
No industrial wind turbines in the area (yet)...
Tens of kilometers of trails from the house (I have already made a listing for a loop hike 11 km door to door with no tar and I have to list some others). The Dordogne River is 4 km away.
Gas Station, stores, pharmacies, bakeries, etc. 14 km away (Argentat) and 16 km away (Beaulieu).
Source water (I am not allowed to declare it drinkable but I drink it every day!) Electricity, toilet and shower in the house. WIFI connection available (rather slow connection) on request and if compatibility.

Great views, great host, great staying. We felt at home straight away. Being away from everything and deep into nature. Thank you, Philippe, and also Judith for your love and care!
On a bien apprécié. Fanny & Charlotte.
