The Brenne regional park covers 160,000 hectares and has 4 sites designated Natura 2000 to date. The Brenne regional park has not far from 300 ponds and regularly sees an impressive number of migratory birds pass through. This preserved park, a true richness of the Indre both geologically and for its fauna, is the ideal place for walks along the paths of Le Blanc, Oulches and Lignac. The Maison du Parc, located in Rosnay, will welcome you with lots of information, exhibitions and a tasting of local products.
Lake Eguzon is also a flagship destination in the Indre because this lake offers many water sports activities such as sailing, canoeing or towed buoys, beaches and beautiful walks. The Pine Loop (original landscape: the excavation makes a loop) as well as the devil's pond in Mers sur Indre with its unique atmosphere or the Chénevières eco-park are also recommended for those who love nature walks. Finally, we also recommend the Haute Touche animal park with its 500 hectares and many animals. The visit is by car and on foot.
Indre, as far as its historical heritage is concerned, has some treasures such as the castles of the Loire (to mention only the beautiful castle of Valençay), the castle of Sarzay dating from the 14th century as well as the feudal castle of Guillaume.

The beautiful village of Gargilesse-Dampierre in France is worth seeing, especially for its Serge Delaveau Museum, its castle and its church. Chateauroux, the capital of the Indre region, with its convent of Les Cordeliers and its various churches, is also worth a visit.
