What to visit in Ajaccio?

Ajaccio is a splendid city that you can visit in itself. The city as a destination has many touristy sites that you can discover throughout your stay. From its magnificent cathedral, the Fesch Museum, or Napoléon Bonaparte's birthplace, your days are likely to be very busy. Indeed, you should know that it was in Ajaccio that Napoleon Bonaparte grew up and you can therefore have the joy of exploring his house. The "Iles Sanguinaires" are also a must, but we recommend that you visit them at sunset. It is especially at this time that you can admire the bright red of the rocks in front of the sun. The Old Port of Ajaccio is also a wonderful visit. The Genoa district in Ajaccio is also very touristic and you'll be able to admire a different cultural aspect of Corsica. As in many Corsican cities, you can visit the Citadel of Ajaccio. With six different bastions, this citadel dominates the Gulf and you can take beautiful pictures of your holidays.

When to go to Ajaccio?
