What to do in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle?

The city of Nancy, the capital of Meurthe-et-Moselle, is known for its exceptional architectural heritage, which has earned it a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Stanislas, Carrière and Alliance squares. Place Stanislas is renowned as one of the most beautiful squares in the world.
The church of the cordeliers of Nancy is also worth a look, among other things for its tombs and its round chapel. Many Renaissance monuments are waiting to be crossed in the old town, such as the Ducal Palace, the St Nicolas Gate or the Craffe Gate.
