What to visit in Marseille? 

Port city of the south of France, Marseille is a very touristic city especially as many places are to visit. Strolling in the heart of the city of Marseille, you can discover different monuments outside the only tourist trails. For a very first visit, it’s recommended to discover the fish market that begin at 9 am. This is the place where you can take beautiful pictures representative of the history of Marseille. If you enjoy history and cultural discoveries, go to the Musée MuCEM Saint-Jean where different temporary exhibitions are present, but also real treasures. Whether it’s a part of the Berlin wall or even the models of the City of Marseille. To restore you, we advise you to go to the oldest district of Marseille called "le Panier". This is the place where the famous "Plus belle la vie" series has been shot. Finally, let’s not forget to evoke Notre-Dame de la Garde who overlooks Marseille and which is currently a real symbol. At this location you can also enjoy a 360-degree view of the entire city. 

 

When to go to Marseille? 

Throughout the year Marseille has a mild and sunny climate. The climate is only unfavourable during December, January and February. If you can't stand the heat, you should avoid getting to Marseille in July and August.
