What to visit in Hyères by motorhome?

Located between Toulon and Le Lavandou, Hyères is a beautiful little town in the south of France where you won't be bored during your stay. Very touristy, this city has many surprises in store for you. This city filled with palm trees offers you first and foremost to discover an old town perched on a hill where you'll find the ruins of an old castle. Narrow streets as in the Middle Ages where you can immerse yourself in a Provençal life. Offshore, you can also have the chance to discover dolphins, turtles and whales. An expedition on the open sea that you will never forget, and an activity to do as a couple or as a family. A real childhood dream that you can make come true by going to Hyères. If you enjoy hiking, Hyères is an ideal destination where you can stroll through a pine forest and various small villages. We advise you to visit the village of Giens. If you enjoy nudism, note that it's possible to go to the Ile du Levant where a village dedicated to naturists is located. The observatory of the Pic des Fées welcomes you at night to observe the stars if you are an astronomy enthusiast. For all those who enjoy water activities, it is possible to discover the seabed of Hyères with the Olbia underwater trail.

When to go to Hyères?

If you are wondering when to rent your campground on HomeCamper to go to Hyères, know that the climate is favourable 10 months a year. February is the coldest month and we do not recommend this time of year. If you want to enjoy swimming, go to Hyères between June and September. Be aware that from April to November, the sun is usually present.
