Description

The house was built in 1900.
I am renovating it; but it is functional.
The house is about 3 km from Vesdun towards Vallon en Sully

The setting

The setting is rural - isolated. There are 5 other houses in walking distance.
Behind the spot for the caravan is a magnificent view over the fields - no houses or other buildings. The neighbours are cows and goats; you will sometimes find a cow literally the other side of the fence. The silence at night is total.

The spots

The spot is under a tree - giving some shade from the sun until around midday. There are several trees on the property and I have planted a micro forest which is growing well.
The ground is flat and there is no real limit to the size (a double decker bus may be a bit too much)

The sanitary facilities

You are welcome to use all the facilities in the house - whenever you wish. (toilet, bath/shower - etc)
The bathroom is a bit primitive and unfinished - but it is functional.

The amenities

There is sattelite (100Mbs) internet wi-fi connection.
You are welcome to use the kitchen, which has a wood burning stove, microwave, multi cooker, magimix etc etc.
This is my home and the kitchen is fully equipped and you are welcome to avail yourself of the essentials (sugar, salt, oil, vinegar etc etc.) if you wish to cook. Just let me know in the morning.
An extension cord is available from the electricity source in the house and I am happy to let you charge mobile devices in the house itself.

The activities

In the area there is an equestrian school.
Montluçon is 30 minutes drive and has all the amenities of a medium sized town
The nearest hypermarket is at Chateaumeillant (20km) (Intermarché with a petrol station)
There is the "Forêt de Milles poetes" in Vesdun.

Other things

You will be considered as a personal guest. The house is not perfect and is still being renovated.
I have a spare (double) guest room if necessary.

Rules

My only real request is that you treat the house and garden with respect (no litter or cigarette ends for example.)
The entry is separate from the house so you are free to come and go as you please.
As my guest I will do everything I can to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
