Description

Looking for a breath of fresh sea air?

Come and pitch your tent on our 1700m2 seaside plot, where our house is located.
From the garden, you're just 50m from the sea, so you can take a dip whenever you like, or simply enjoy the sunset from your pitch.

We have 3 permanent tenants who are our 3 cats. For their sake we ask you not to bring your 4-legged friends.

The setting

Feel like cooling off?
All you have to do is get out of the field and into the water - or more, if you've got Breton genes! (Located at the end of the Brest harbor, we have the advantage that the water is warmer than on the north Finistère coast.)

The spots

We offer you a flat pitch, under our birch tree so as not to be too much in the sun and to be able to sleep well in the morning.

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are independent of our home.
We have set up a small hut at the bottom of the garden with a dry toilet and a space for a solar shower (Decathlon solar shower available).

A tap with hot water is also available outside the house to fill the shower if the weather is capricious.

The amenities

A summer kitchen area is at your disposal, with a sink connected to rainwater, a fridge where you can put your groceries and drinks, and a dustbin.
In this area, you'll also have access to electrical outlets for recharging your cell phone or other items.
We provide a barbecue, table and chairs to enjoy the garden to the full, with the possibility of requesting barbecue and/or aperitif kits with local produce if required.

The activities

A 5-minute walk will take you to the neighbor's farm, where you can buy delicious vegetables direct from the producers, and to the Rostiviec nautical center.

To quench your thirst, head to the Café de l'ancre, a 10-15 min walk away, with a superb view over the Anse de Penfoul, where you can sample local beers or organic or natural wine. And if you're lucky, you might even find yourself at an open-air concert.

Take the car to visit the surrounding area, with the Abbey of Daoulas, the Strawberry Museum in Plougastel, the inhabited bridge of Landerneau and its exhibitions, or the Crozon peninsula with its magnificent beaches and caves.
Venture into the city of Brest to discover the seabed at Océanopolis, the château with its naval museum or the Capucins with its magnificent view of the Arsenal.

For festival fans, the house is a 1-hour drive from the Vieilles Charrues festival in Carhaix, 45 minutes from the Bout du Monde festival in Crozon and 20 minutes from La fête du Bruit in Landerneau.

Other activities include accrobranche in Dirinon (10min away), a day at the Récré des 3 curées amusement park (30min away), Brittany's biggest, or the inflatables at Aqua West Park on the Ty Colo lake in Saint Renan (36min away).

Rules

You can contact us directly to arrange your arrival time, departure until 11am.
The site is a smoking area as long as you don't throw your cigarette butts on the ground but in the ashtray provided.
We ask you to respect the environment and nature, and to leave the site as clean as you found it when you arrived.
Please respect our guests and neighbors.
Dogs not allowed out of respect for our cats.

  • For those who like peace and quiet, it's perfect! A single tent pitch on good flat ground, personal dry toilets and an open-air solar shower (walls but no roof). Hot water from the tap to fill the tank when the sun's not shining... A fridge and sink (cold water) in a hut at the bottom of the garden. Many suggested local addresses.
    And don't forget the sea just 20 meters away!
