Description

We lend our garden to pitch a tent for a night or two, there is an independent access through a gate at the back of the garden. There is also a trampoline in our garden.

The setting

We are a 7-8 minute walk from one of the entrances to the park of Rambouillet castle, which is very large. If there is a rugby match in the nearby stadium tonight, you may hear the game, but it is not a very big stadium so there is rarely any shouting or cheering, just the sound of the ball and the coach cheering. Otherwise at night it is often very quiet (98% of the time).

The spots

You will be able to set up in a place in the garden, the ground is not quite flat, but not very sloping either. I would say that it is necessary to accept a small slope of the ground.

The sanitary facilities

We can give access to the toilet in the garage. There is a small sink but no shower.

The amenities

You can charge a cell phone in the garage (remember to bring your charger).
We do not give access to the kitchen, only to the garage.

The activities

On the spot it is possible to visit rambouillet (castle, museum rambolitrain,). This garden can be a stage on a hiking trail.

Other things

We accept pooches under three conditions:
- please do not let them poop in the garden (or pick up after them);
- please don't let the dog chase the chickens (our neighbor has chickens and they will be visible from our garden), we don't want them to be afraid and we want to keep good relations with our neighbors);
- your dog should be calm (I mean no barking);

If these conditions are met, he is welcome and we could provide him with a water bowl.
Children are welcome too, but beware that part of the garden is high up from our terrace, without a protective fence, so a young child without supervision could fall and get seriously injured. I advise against bringing a child under 6 years old if he/she is not supervised at all times.

Rules

The hours can be flexible.
Access is by a path that goes through the back of the house, then through the garden gate.
Smokers are welcome if the butts go in a flower pot and not on the grass of the garden.
Young children should be well supervised by their parents, as there is a risk of falling.
Otherwise, children can enjoy the trampoline if they take off their shoes and respect the safety rules.
