Description

Located in the heart of a charming little village with a lovely little church (worth a visit). In a quiet, restful setting, with very few roads and little traffic. The ideal place for a rejuvenating retreat.

The setting

Here, you can hear the church bell from time to time. The villagers are very welcoming and smiling. You can hear the rooster crowing when you wake up, because we have chickens, and you can also go and meet some little goats, take part in milking them, and even turn the milk into goat's cheese. Not far away we have access to a small stream and a wood. Here you can often come across foxes and other small animals, 4km from a larger village where you can find a bakery, small shops, a library...

The spots

We have a flat, open plot. Two small trees ( Cognassier and a hazel tree ) but not big enough to take shelter when it's very sunny.

The sanitary facilities

You have access to our house through a door at the back leading directly to the shower and bathroom.

The amenities

A shared fridge/freezer and a fully equipped kitchen are also at your disposal. We don't have a microwave here, but we do have an oven and hob.

The activities

On site, you can take a stroll around the village, which is very pleasant and the surrounding area is ideal for hiking.
The surrounding area offers a wealth of tourist attractions, including Langres, Vittel and Bourbonnes-Les-Bains (Thermal Spa). All within a 20-40 minute drive. If you're looking to buy locally, you'll find plenty of crafts and small farms in the area, and producers are happy to show you around their smallholdings. Here, people are not stingy with their time and are happy to chat.
