Description

The access road is unpaved and disconnected and it is essential to have a tall vehicle, suv or an off-road vehicle. Located on Monte Pisano, in the municipality of Vicopisano in the province of Pisa, we have land used as pasture for our Maremmana horses from the La Rocca Breeding, Amiatini donkeys and other animals. It is land surrounded by greenery and olive trees and with large clearings (given the historical extraction of marble and stone). The land is about 16 ha and has very large yards where you can stay with the enchanting view over the valley to the sea, to Gorgona (Island of the Tuscan archipelago). You can come by camper or tent. From our quarry you can appreciate extraordinary views that reach as far as the Tyrrhenian coast to fully savor nature.
Amenities
The property has several displaced drinking fountains of non-potable water, barbecue (only if the season permits and if there are no different regional provisions), wooden table with benches. There are no sanitary facilities and toilets. There is no possibility to connect to the electricity grid but solar-charged lights can be provided. Insulated wooden box structure/ stabling and paddock for sheltering horses with running water, light and fodder (to be reported in advance when arriving with horses in order to prepare the boxes). Possibility to park trailers.
Surroundings
Beautiful start for hiking to fully appreciate unique itineraries in one of the most beautiful and historically rich areas of Tuscany. Two minutes from the center of Lugnano and Uliveto Terme, where you will find supermarkets, post office, bars, restaurants and pharmacies. Its excellent location will allow you to reach Pisa and its leaning tower in a short time, or Lucca and its Renaissance walls. For sea lovers, the beaches of Versilia are just a few kilometers away.

Outstanding
  • Very beautiful place, peaceful, charming, the access road is rather complicated and requires a 4x4 or SUV but Cindy is very friendly, my car couldn't get in, she dropped us off at the site.
    A magnificent sunset view!
    Cindy also speaks great French!
    I recommend her! What's more, it's close to Vicopisano, a medieval village that's a must-see!
