Description

Advertisement dedicated to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Open all year round.
Dry toilets and shower accessible H 24.
Located at the bottom of the garden for maximum independence.

The setting

Just 300 meters from the Fontainebleau forest, you can recharge your batteries before setting off again.
From the Bois-Le-Roi station, a direct train to Paris Gare de Lyon takes 30 minutes.

The spots

The terrain is flat and offers plenty of shade. The soil is loose, making it easy to pitch your tent. The site is large and easy to access.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets and shower with instant electric water heater available 24 hours a day. Take an organic shower gel and shampoo, the water runs into the ground (thanks for the planet).

The amenities

Tent rental (5 euros per night, decreasing price according to duration) for campers wishing to travel light :)

Fridge and microwave available.

It's possible to plug in to the electricity supply - we can provide you with an extension lead.
You'll be able to recharge your mobiles and tablets ad infinitum.

The activities

Bois-le-Roi is home to a pleasant leisure park with a lake and plenty of children's play equipment.

You can walk or cycle around the asphalt paths.

A Unesco World Heritage site, the Château de Fontainebleau, a unique witness to almost eight centuries of French history, bears the mark of the greatest sovereigns, from Saint Louis to Napoleon Ill.

Close to the château, in the heart of the "Ville Impériale", you'll find the Fontainebleau market, narrow streets with over 400 traders, a 17th-century church, famous coats of arms, charming hotels and many other wonders.

The capital of horses, Fontainebleau is also a dream destination for equestrian enthusiasts and outdoor events.
As the patron town of the Garde Républicaine, Fontainebleau is deeply attached to its age-old tradition.

For over half a century, the Ecole Militaire d'Équitation (EME), one of the world's most prestigious institutions, has been showcasing its renowned facilities, including the magnificent Sénarmont riding school and its traditional stables.

The Grand Parquet hosts events all year round, not just for horse lovers.

Last but not least, the Solle racecourse, one of the oldest in France, also welcomes visitors for races, in its green setting on the edge of the forest.

We are also partners of the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival, and would be delighted to welcome you on this occasion.

Other things

Special offer during the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival.

Recycling garbage cans available. Please respect the sorting instructions posted on the garbage cans!

Rules

We ask you to respect nature and our grounds. Everything is at your disposal without restrictions, but must be used with care.

We have large garbage cans with selective sorting to be respected. Please see photos to help you sort correctly (I'll gladly do without sorting after you).

You will meet other campers on the site during the summer and share the communal sanitary facilities (shower and dry toilets).

There are also compost bins (take a good look at the photo above to see what you can put inside).

Smokers are asked to put out their cigarette butts with the utmost vigilance, and to dispose of them in a bag intended exclusively for this purpose.

As we live in a residential area, we ask you to respect the silence from around 10pm onwards, for everyone's peace and quiet.

We offer your children the opportunity to play on the trampoline, ping pong, pétanque, basketball etc... Please tidy up after use!

We dedicate the whole of the second part of our grounds to you, from the outbuilding to the back of the field.

We're not closed to the idea of accepting you in our first part, but we appreciate it when you ask, for example so that the children can have fun on the trampoline or watch the fish in the pond.

Finally, we ask you to respect our privacy from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on our first section of land.
