Description

We welcome you to this small village, nicknamed the Balcon des Aspres. You can admire the view over the Roussillon plain and the sea.

The setting

Llauro is a small village of 300 inhabitants on the foothills of the CANIGOU. You can admire the view over the Roussillon plain in the shade of the oak trees and in the peace and quiet. Few people pass through this small village, mostly cyclists.

The spots

We will welcome you on a flat part of the land that can "comfortably" accommodate a VAN-type vehicle near our swimming pool. The site is easy to access. We are located at the entrance to the village, just below the road.

The sanitary facilities

We will provide you with a bathroom (shower and washbasin) as well as a toilet located in the same room. The sanitary facilities are on the ground floor of our house, in the "garage" area, which is separate from the rest of the house. Hot water is available. We would simply ask you to be careful with the use of water, which is a limited resource in our beautiful Département.

The amenities

If required, we can provide Wifi access to our home.
There is no access to a kitchen. A barbecue can be lent to you outside (depending on prefectural decrees, we are careful about fire risks).
Access to electricity (extension cord) and you can also charge your phone in the bathroom area.

The activities

We have our own swimming pool, which we are happy to share. The village is the starting point for many hikes and bike tours, as well as the surrounding villages. We're just 40 minutes from the sea (Argelès), 25 minutes from the Spanish border and 20 minutes from the Vallespir (Céret, Amélie-les-Bains). We'll be happy to swap tips on what to see and do in the département, as well as local restaurants.

Rules

No unsupervised children in the pool, regulated use of water (the department is subject to a prefectoral decree), vigilance regarding fire hazards (watch out for cigarettes, forest fires, etc.). No late-night noise or music to respect neighbors. Garbage must be deposited in the containers provided in an adjacent street.
